Difference in freelancing and owning a small business?
I am an amateur photographer and I'm trying to start a photography business. Legally, what is the difference between having a business license actually owning a business , and being a freelancer?I know what each of them are, but what are the differences with taxes, laws, etc.? I'm sure it varies by state, but any info you could give me would be helpful

I think there is a system that works by you paying everytime someone clicks on your website on google and it works with your daily monthly budget. I own a small business. How can I avoid carrying two cell phones, one for business and one for personal use?
I need to get a smart phone urgently. When I use it for business away from my home office, I will be using it mainly for email communication. Otherwise, almost all calls I make and text messaging are personal. Data and text use cannot be tracked like phone calls. How can I track my personal use and business use of this phone for tax? If I cannot track them, will I have to carry two phones? I really don't want to. Has anybody solved this problem?I CANNOT accurately track the personal use of this phone. Almost ALL phone calls are personal. However, I do almost all of my business communication by email. The only thing I can track for personal use is phone calls, they don't itemize the data and text use. Then, if I go by the phone calls only, I cannot justify this phone being business because 99 % of my calls are personal. If 99 % of calls and text messaging are personal but emails and other data usage are almost 100 % business, how can I calculate the persona use of this phone for the income tax?
Can I file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy even though I own a small business?
I need to file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. My income for the last six months is about $10,800, well below the median test for NY State. However, my salary comes from my small business, which is an S Corporation. I am the only owner, and I pay myself out of that corporation. Am I able to continue to run my company and declare Bankruptcy at the same time, or would I be forced to close the corporation?

Is it normal for CPA's to want to find out how much you made before they will tell you what they will charge you? I can't imagine a client calling and asking what I charge and I answer, " Well, what do you make?" Also, I went to a CPA today to ask about doing my taxes and he informed me that I should be incorporated which he could do for me for a low set up fee of $1500 and a yearly maintenance fee of $2000? I own a small business, client stiffed me for $5400. He filed Bankruptcy, included me. He defaulted?
He included me in the bankruptcy, I received 2 payments of $110 each, he has now defaulted and the stay has been lifted. Should I take him to small claims court? Do I need to wait any amount of time before doing anything? Please help me out this guy is driveing a Beemer, has two other cars, a huge house, and takeing vacations, its really burning me up.
